How to do Link building for new blogs?
As I described one of my friends question “What is Blog?” in one of my previous posts, Now the other very good friend of mine asked me one very interesting question “How to do Link Building for new blogs?”. As soon as he asked me this question it clicked in my mind and i thought that how many of bloggers are searching for answer to this question. So now here i am listing some points based on my experence for some of my own blogs.

Make a list of blog directories and submit your blog to all those blog directories.

Find some good .edu blogs and take active part in the discussion on selected topic. Dont spam them. This can give you some solid back links.

Participate in the dofollow blog. Give your homepage URL while you comment to the topic of that blog. This link will be considered as a backlink in a google. So provide some useful views and take active participation in discussion. Once again remember not to spam.

You can find some other bloggers in the same niche as yours and ask them to write some good guest posts on your blog. Similarly you write some good articles / Posts for their blogs and make a guest post on their blog. As human nature the other blogger will definatly allow you to post your blog link with the good content you are posting to his blog. After all he is getting a good content for his blog. This is how you can increase the popularity of your blog as well as you have gained some backlink also.

Take active participation in the discussion forum and put the link of your blog in your signature on that forum. If your view is good for the selected topic and people like it then it is sure that people will visit your blog.

You can follwo the common ways of link bulding like directory submission, article submission, social networking, 3-way link exchange etc.
Apart from these basic tips I have tried some different kind of wiered techniques and I have got good results from them also. Some of them are listed below.

While you take part in discussion on different blogs or on different forum, sometimes try to give the reasonable opposite opinion then others. I am sure people will definatly visit your blog.

Give away some free things like “Free Ad for 15 days/10 days/7 days” or others what you can think to the top 3 commentators to the blog.

Keep watch on the latest site launch or happenings in your niche and try to give some review / feedback on your blog.
A human never knows each and everything perfectly so if you have some other ideas of link building for new blog you can share with me.

Rich informations. I am trying the same from now. I am sure it will work for me. it is better to mention that the blog subject is one of the factor influencing the visitors and its count. suppose your blog is about blog ideas and mine is about investment. naturally there will be more interest on your blog than mine. this is because of subject. mentioning the same is good. But my passion is in investing and financial planning and yours in the subject that you have presently. I agree that without passion, you can’t survive with blog. if you start one, it will not last more…
