Google also knows that I work on my sites in my underwear. Darn that spy cam (they call it a web cam, but we know better…)

That aside, there’s no point in clicking your own ads anyway. The whole system depends on merchants getting something out of the money they put into Adwords. If you want your sites to earn money for the long run, only send them qualified leads.

So what I believe Google has more powerful investigating system
then Scotland Yard, CIA or FBI.

Great points! And totally agree with methode I have myself now three times mistakenly clicked on my own ads. Nothing happened, I mean nothing. I didn’t get paid, nor banned. Organic traffic is what google wants, real people, looking for sites like yours and then you’ll be rewarded.

yes they dont ban you for your mistakes… but man if you do that mistake 50 times a day then that is not mistake and google knows that very well

I agree on you on that, google really finds it’s way in checking if you are cheating and clicking on your own ads, but what if you go to your site and the ad is really interesting enough for you to be curious to click on it?

Good thing on wordpress there are tools to help you not accidentally clicking on your own ads

Interesting summary. Good to know these things. But I know that Google doesn’t penalize for accidental clicks.
