Best time to put google adsense on your blog
As I have described some basic blogging tips here and tips to do link building for blogs here, now I would like to discuss one important question for which most of the bloggers seek answer. The question is what is the best time to put Google Adsense on my blog?
Somebody will say that there is no need to check what is the best time, just put it from the first day and start earning. Other will say after one month from the day when you start your blog you should put adsense on your blog. But I would say without traffic there is no point in putting ads on your blog. Let say if your blog is 1 or 2 years old but it has only 2 or 3 unique visitors a day then there will be no income from adsense right?
So I have concluded some points depending on my experience and listed them here.
· I will say keep your blog clean and easy to read. Don’t make the blog “Ads blog”.
· Try to create good readership and generate more traffic.
· As per my suggestion once you start getting around 50 unique visitors per day put first ad block to your blog.
· Now stop and see the performance of that block. Also don’t forget to add good content and create new readers every day.
· Now when your unique visitor count reaches in the band of 100 to 200 you can move forward and put second ad block.
· And when you get continuously 200+ visitors every day put all the possible ad blocks you can.
· You will need more unique visitors depending on the niche of your blog. I have just listed the basics.
These are my suggestions but you can apply your brain according to your needs. I would also suggest use one text link advertising network with adsense to get more profit. But the key point is to keep your blog updated and try to get more and more quality readers.
You are always welcome to give your views and correct my errors

hi there! i’m a newbie and i don’t know how to get readers. hope you’ll write a post on how to create traffic. thanks!
I used the adsense before but at the end decide to go with the context link. I’m still working on the block ad space.
i added my adsense before i start my blog post.
i dont really know if this is wrong. because i get few clicks per day
thanks to this post
I totally agree with your point about putting to many ads on your blog – it is so obnoxious and totally distracting to the readers. I don’t know why so many bloggers make this mistake – is the $.56 you will make on adsense worth turning off your readers? So glad you made that point!! Thanks!
Sky,
I agree with your post. It is better to have ads after getting good traffic. for your information, there are some other method to get good money from ad sense with a low traffic blog. To do this, you have to first identify the highest paying keyword and keep your articles with enough density with such keywords. This will help to get enough money than others. You can have a look into my blog http://millionblogideas.blogspot.com to know the steps to identify such high paying keywords.

Wow! So informative. I am new to blogging. My blog is about restaurant consulting and home entertaining. I really enjoy to write and am enjoying blogging but I cannot get traffic to my site. Making money (from google or others) doing what I enjoy would be great but, like you said, you must build traffic first. Any suggestions would be so appreciated! Please help!! also – i signed up for google analytics but it doesnt seen to be working properly. Where can I go to get detailed directions on how to use analytics? Thanks so much!
I had adsense from day one. I’m not making any money but I use the statistics they provide to see how my blog is doing
