Nobody wants to count the visit made to own site for some information or testing. By omitting own visits to the site a person would get perfect analysis of the visits made to the website.

Google Analytics gives a way where you can filter the visits from particular IP address or a domain. Following are the steps which can help you to block the needed things.

1. Login to Google Analytics and select your site and click on the Filter Manager on bottom right corner as shown in the image.

2. Click on Add New Filter button at the top right corner of the grid and it will bring the screen for filter settings.

3. Select the option “Traffic from the IP addresses” and enter your IP address in the following field.

4. Select the site you want to ad this filter for and click save changes.

You can also select traffic from the domains option and by entering the domain, you can block the traffic analysis from that particular domain.
